The SIZE Prozess® model is a socio-psychological analysis and development tool that supports social organisations in acquiring an idea of personality structure and describing its characteristics. SIZE Prozess® helps to identify and analyse relationships between individuals as well as between individuals and groups. With the help of this model, different character traits, also called personality styles, can be portrayed. SIZE Prozess® supports individuals in better understanding their resources at hand and utilizing their skills and potentials in order to fully benefit from them.*
The SIZE Prozess® analysis model is based on the assumption that people and their environment form a reciprocal relationship and can influence each other. The founders of the SIZE Prozess® model presume that an individual’s personality is determined by genetics, education and personal experiences. These personality traits are described using six character styles. SIZE Prozess® makes it possible to show different personality styles, which mostly appear in mixed forms, in order to represent an individual in relation to them and their environment.

The SIZE Prozess® personality model is based on psychological insights from depth and humanistic approaches of transactional analysis. It combines ideas of depth psychology with Gestalt and behavior therapy concepts as well as recent findings of developmental psychology. SIZE Prozess® also uses analysis and evaluation models from sociology, psychology and organisational sciences.
The term SIZE is derived from the surnames of the initiators Hannes SIEBER and Fritz ZEHETNER. The SIZE Prozess® model has been developed continuously since its foundation in 2000.
The measurement method used in the potential analysis was checked for validity and reliability by Prof. Dr. Angelo Giardini between 2007 and 2008. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Thomas Werani continued the research on this project. Following further evaluation procedures, SIZE Prozess® has become a valid and reliable instrument of analysis since 2010.
The potential analysis is exclusively executed by certified partners. For purposes of quality assurance, SIZE partners must regularly take advantage of further education and training opportunities.
